OSRS GE Flipper Add to Discord

FAQ

What is this?

Flippy — a self-learning tool that watches every tradeable item on the OSRS Grand Exchange, does the math on what's worth flipping after the 2% tax, and posts the best picks — on the flips page and in Discord. Then it does the part most tools skip: it goes back and re-checks every pick against the live market, every hour, for 24 hours, and publishes how it went.

Is this a bot that plays the game for me? Will I get banned?

No, and no. Flippy never touches your account, never logs in, and doesn't want your password. It only reads public market data and tells you what looks good. You place every offer yourself, in game, like any other player. There's nothing here that breaks Jagex rules — it's the same information you could pull off the Wiki price pages, just with the math already done.

How does it decide what to flip?

It scans live prices and volumes for every tradeable item every few minutes, filters for margins that survive GE tax, and checks the volume can actually fill your offers. Then the part we're weirdly proud of: its own graded results get fed back in. Picks that looked good on paper but kept failing in practice get weighted down over time. So the suggestions are calibrated on what actually happened, not just a snapshot of a spread.

How is this different from other trackers / flipping sites?

Two things. First, it learns. Most tools rank a snapshot of today's spreads and stop there. Flippy trains a machine-learning model on its own graded results — thousands of real, timestamped outcomes — and keeps retuning itself, so picks that looked good on paper but kept failing in practice get weighted down, and the engine gets sharper the longer it runs. Second, it grades itself in public. Every flip it calls gets re-priced hourly for a full day, and the results go up on the track record — losses included. Most services show you their wins. We show you the whole ledger and let you decide if it's any good.

How do I know the track record isn't cherry-picked?

Every flip in the log links to Flippy's public Discord announcement, and Discord timestamps can't be edited — so a call can't be quietly backdated to fit a price move. Each hourly checkpoint also records the market prices it saw, which anyone can re-check against the OSRS Wiki price API's public history.

Why did a flip it called lose money?

Because flipping has risk and nothing sees the future. Prices move, someone dumps 5,000 of an item at once, a margin that existed at scan time evaporates. The honest claim was never "every pick wins" — it's "here's the win rate, measured properly, in public."

Where does the price data come from?

The OSRS Wiki real-time price API — the same public source most GE tools build on. The difference is everything that happens after: the filtering, the after-tax math, and the self-grading loop.

How do I get the flips in my Discord?

Add Flippy to your server and it posts the flip lists automatically. Members can log their own flips with /open and /close.

I'm new to flipping. Where do I start?

Start with the low risk list on the current flips page — high-volume items where offers fill fast and a miss costs you very little. Buy at the suggested price, sell at the suggested price, don't chase. And run your numbers through the GE tax calculator so the 2% tax never surprises you.
